From the Rapier Marshal

Between school and other miscellaneous problems, attendance has taken a dive at rapier practice. I am working on fixing the problem by working with people to accommodate their schedule conflicts.

Our newcomers still show a lot of interest in learning and they still show a great deal of promise. It still looks like we are well on the way to fulfilling the goal of at least an eight man squad at Gulf Wars XIII.

I still encourage any who are interested in Rapier combat and haven't made it out to practice yet, please come out. We are there Tuesdays and Thursdays @7PM.  And even if you are not interested in Rapier combat and just have nothing to do on Tues. or Thurs. come out and support your shire's fighters.

In Service,

Darien Wylde, of the House Wylde

From the Fiber Guild

The Fiber Guild is meeting Wednesday night at 7:30 at Abigail and Diego's house.  Contact Abigail or Raisya for directions.  We are also hosting monthly Saturday meetings for fiber people in the Southern region.   We will probably have our next Saturday meeting in January, more details will follow on the e-mail list.

Any one is welcome to come, all you need is an interest in something fiber related.  We have supplies to teach spinning, weaving, knitting and needlework, and are happy to learn new crafts as well.
