From the Rapier Marshal

Rapier practice is still chugging along. Sometimes we have a lot of people fighting and sometimes just three. A lot of the new fighters are showing promise, and a lot of the old fighters continue to improve. As always I encourage others to come out and support your local fighters, if not to strap on some loaner gear and try it out.

In Service,

Darien Wylde

Rapier Marshal

From the Archery Marshal

Greetings Shadowlands:

Well, things have really picked up at practice!  We've had 8 different archers show up to the last couple!  Two scheduling notes:  My work schedule has changed, so now we could have practice on Saturday or Sunday.  Also, I am thinking of having an arrow-making party after Gulf War if anyone is interested.  Please contact me at djshipman@earthlink.net or call 279-9626 (between 10am and 11pm) if you have any interest in either.

In service,
HL Moreg Cochrane CAMA

Reeve -- we have money -- if you need reimbursement, talk to me

Historian/Archivist/Librarian -- the books are getting lonely with nobody to read them -- if you want to visit them, let me know

From the Herald

Working on Abi's flaming movie. Met with Moreg last Saturday and discussed a device for her.  Also met with Diego and discussed a device for him.  That's pretty much it for the Herald. Anybody need any help or have any questions, my number is on the listserv.

From the Fiber Guild

The Fiber Guild is meeting Wednesday night at 7:30 at Abigail and Diego's house.  Contact Abigail or Raisya for directions.  We are also hosting monthly weekend meetings for fiber people in the Southern region.   We will have our next weekend meeting on Saturday, March 27, more details will follow on the e-mail list.

Any one is welcome to come, all you need is an interest in something fiber related.  We have supplies to teach spinning, weaving, knitting and needlework, and are happy to learn new crafts as well.
