From the Rapier Marshal
As with fall every year brings a new batch of folks wanting to get out and
play. So far many have chosen to become involved in rapier which brings me
much happiness. Hopefully soon our new friends will learn the art of defense
and soon too will be able to represent Shadowlands in events around the
kingdom.
As to goings on of rapier. We've had a new fighter authorize at Raven's Fort
event and many fighters participating in the rapier tourney at that event.
Recognition was given to Rinalde at court for a job well done, for a newer
fighter getting out, fighting all day with everyone and having a smile while
she did it. In addition to having a fighter make it to the finals.
I am reposting my intent to withdrawal as the Shadowlands Rapier Marshal. Both
regional and kingdom have already been notified. I have been accepting
applications.
Those intending to apply for the position need to give me a completed copy of
the officer application, along with a copy of their current
membership card, driver's license and both sides of their authorization card.
Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
As of writing this only one application has been turned into me to send up the
chain to the regional.

From the Chronicler
Greetings from the Chronicler,
I need submissions for the Shadow Knows including covers, articles,
and notes and challenges. If
you are active in a guild, please check the list and notify me by e-mail
(hamletkitty@yahoo.com) if changes are needed.
I would like to step down as Chronicler as of Coronation (or sooner if
someone can be found). I have too many other commitments and don't think I've
been giving The Shadow my full attention. Applications can be found
at
http://seneschal.ansteorra.org/forms/Application.pdf. Please send
applications to Branwen le Baxtere, whose contact information is at
http://southern.ansteorra.org/officers.php.
