Greetings Shadowlanders!

Except for the first week of each month and Thanksgiving day, rapier fighter practice will continue through the holidays on Thursdays at 7:00 PM outside the varsity tennis courts on west campus. There will be a Sunday fighter practices during November or December.

Congratulations to Lady Caitilin on receiving the Award of the Sable Talon of Ansteorra for rapier combat at the Battle of Three Kings.

Also at Three Kings, the melee team that brought the Iron Star back to Ansteorra successfully defended their claim to the prize. Of the five teams who competed (the defenders plus four challenging teams), team Shadowlands was the only team to be composed entirely of members of a single local group, and we proved a noteworthy challenge to each of the other teams. Team Shadowlands was composed of the following members: Lady Rossa of the Shadowlands (who made a return appearance since her departure to Atlantia), Lady Elizabeth Somerset, Jaymes Fenn, Stubbs, and myself. The next defense of the Iron Star of Ansteorra will be on the Sunday of Queen's Champion Tournament.
